1. Vehicle Linking Error (Problem)
A communication occurs when the scan tool fails to communicate with the vehicle’s ECU. You need to do the following to check up:

Verify the ignition is ON.
Check if the scan tool’s OBD II connector is well connected to the vehicle’s DLC.
Verify whether the vehicle is OBD II compliant.
