Since 2015 FVDI release, most customers can directly use it successfully, some customer will meet problem in usage, from our feedback and test,most of them are caused by the incompatibility between the software and the operation system.Detailed description show as the following:
1) Laptop problem
From our feedback, most use XP system laptop to install fvdi software, usually without problem. Most problem occurs on WIN7 system.
It also has requirement for configuration: CPU 1.8 above ,memory >=2GB, like Dell D630 2GB (SO106). XP system is the best. Better do not use it on WIN7 32bit.
2) Good internet
If internet speed is too low or not stable, it will show “connecting to server …… Failed” when you update the firmware or license. When you meet this as picture 1, do not worry, change a good internet,show as picture 2.
Kindly note:
Please connect according to the right way when you update the firmware and get authorization.
Connect the dongle to the main unit (please note not insert to the computer), then connect the unit with the computer via USB.
The normal response of the unit and the dongle:
The green light on the unit would flash and the the red light of the dongle goes on while its green light is off.
